Sjuøyane, meaning Seven Islands in English, is the northernmost part of the Svalbard archipelago north of mainland Norway, about 20 kilometers north of the major eastern island of Nordaustlandet. The islands form the northernmost landmass reachable by normal means, lying roughly 1,024 kilometers south of the North Pole, and many of them are named after English explorers, most notably Captain Nelson.
