Rocas Alijos

Rocas Alijos, also called Escollos Alijos or Alijos Rocks, are a small group of steep, barren, and uninhabited volcanic islets and rocks in the Pacific Ocean, part of the Comondu municipality of the Mexican state of Baja California Sur, about three hundred kilometers west of the mainland. Their total surface area is only about 0.012 square kilometers. The group consists of three principal rocks, South Rock at thirty four meters high, Middle Rock at eighteen meters high, and North Rock at twenty two meters high, along with numerous smaller rocks and submerged formations.
