The Princess of Hope is a natural rock formation, a hoodoo shaped by erosion, in Hingol National Park in the Lasbela district of Balochistan, Pakistan. It stands in the Makran coastal region, an area of dramatic gorges and unusual mud and rock formations, about 190 kilometers from Karachi. The pinnacle's silhouette resembles a crowned, robed female figure gazing toward the horizon, an effect created entirely by natural erosion of the surrounding rock. It takes its name from actress Angelina Jolie, who named it during a 2002 visit to the park as a United Nations Goodwill Ambassador, and it stands near another well known formation nicknamed the Balochistan Sphinx.
