The Piedras Encimadas Valley is a series of small valleys in the Zacatlan municipality of Puebla in central Mexico, covering an area estimated at between 100 and 400 hectares that is mostly privately owned and developed for tourism. Its defining feature is a field of basalt rock formations weathered by erosion over millions of years into fantastical, capricious shapes.
