Peak Korzhenevskaya rises in the Pamir Mountains of Tajikistan, reaching an elevation of about 7,105 meters, one of the five 7,000-meter Snow Leopard peaks of the former Soviet Union. Like the rest of the Pamir range, it was uplifted through the ongoing tectonic collision between the Indian and Eurasian plates. The peak was named by the Russian geographer Nikolai Korzhenevsky in 1910 for his wife, Evgenia Korzhenevskaya, and it stands near Peak Ismoil Somoni, the Pamir's highest summit, within the same high mountain massif. This entity documents Peak Korzhenevskaya specifically as a geological formation, a Pamir summit above 7,000 meters raised by the same tectonic collision responsible for the range's other Snow Leopard peaks.
