Panola Mountain is a 100 acre granite monadnock in Rockdale County, Georgia, reaching 946 feet above sea level and rising 260 feet above the nearby South River, which marks the boundary between Henry, Rockdale and DeKalb counties. Its delicate ecological features led to its designation as a National Natural Landmark on December 16, 1980.
