The Palmer Archipelago, also known as the Antarctic Archipelago, is a group of islands off the northwestern coast of the Antarctic Peninsula, extending from Tower Island in the north to Anvers Island in the south. It is separated from the Antarctic Peninsula and the Wilhelm Archipelago by the Gerlache and Bismarck straits, and it falls within overlapping British, Chilean and Argentine territorial claims.
