Oraefajokull

Oraefajokull is an ice covered stratovolcano in southeastern Iceland, the country's largest active volcano and, at 2,110 meters, its highest peak. It sits at the southern edge of the Vatnajokull ice cap, its roughly 20 kilometer wide volcanic edifice topped by a summit caldera some 3 by 4 kilometers across, with outlet glaciers such as Skaftafellsjokull and Svinafellsjokull draining from the ice covering its flanks.
