Mueller Glacier is a 13-kilometer glacier in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park on New Zealand's South Island, within the Southern Alps. It originates near Mount Montgomerie, flows northwest and curves around the Sealy Range, fed along the way by the Frind and Huddleston glaciers, before ending at a small unnamed terminal lake also fed by the nearby Hooker Glacier. That lake is the source of the Hooker River, which flows on to Lake Pukaki via the Tasman River. The glacier is named for the botanist and explorer Ferdinand von Mueller, reached its Little Ice Age maximum extent between about 1725 and 1730 according to lichen dating, and is currently retreating.
