Mount Matutum

Mount Matutum rises on the island of Mindanao in the Philippines, about 5.7 kilometers from Acmonan in the municipality of Tupi, South Cotabato province, reaching an elevation of roughly 2,290 meters (7,500 feet), the highest point in South Cotabato. It is an active stratovolcano whose forested foothills are inhabited mainly by families of the indigenous Blaan people. This entity documents Mount Matutum specifically as a geological formation, the highest point of South Cotabato province and home to the surrounding Blaan indigenous community.
