Mount Ascutney is a monadnock in Windsor County, Vermont, rising abruptly from the surrounding lowlands to 3,144 feet (958 meters), the highest point in the county. Its Windsor Trail climbs 2.7 miles to the summit, gaining 2,514 feet of elevation at an overall grade of about 18 percent.
