The Madalena Islets, known in Portuguese as Ilheus da Madalena, are two uninhabited islets in the Faial-Pico Channel about half a nautical mile from Madalena harbor, off the coast of the island of Pico in the Azores, Portugal. They are visible from Horta on Faial Island and from the ferries that cross between Horta and Madalena. The shorter of the two islets is locally called Ilheu Deitado, meaning lying down islet, and the taller one Ilheu em Pe, meaning standing up islet.
