Lighthouse Reef is an atoll in the Caribbean Sea, the easternmost of the three atolls that make up the Belize Barrier Reef system, the other two being Turneffe Atoll and Glover's Reef. It lies about 80 kilometers southeast of Belize City, is of oblong shape roughly 35 kilometers long from north to south and about 8 kilometers wide, and encloses a shallow sandy lagoon of about 120 square kilometers with a depth of 2 to 6 meters.
