Konigsstuhl is a white chalk cliff on the Baltic Sea island of Rugen in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Germany, part of the Stubbenkammer section of Jasmund National Park and the most iconic geological feature in the region. It reaches 118 meters above sea level, and a plateau of about 200 square meters sits at its summit, reached by granite steps and thought to sit above a Bronze Age burial mound; the plateau offers wide views over the Baltic Sea, best appreciated from the nearby Victoria's View lookout. An 11-kilometer cliff-top path connects Sassnitz and Lohme past the formation, and a car park 3 kilometers away at Hagen serves visitors, with paid access to the site through the Konigsstuhl National Park Centre since 2004.
