The Kidron Valley is a valley that begins just northeast of the Old City of Jerusalem, separating the Temple Mount from the Mount of Olives before continuing southeast through the Judean Desert to the Dead Sea. It runs a course of about 20 miles and descends roughly 4,000 feet along its length.
