Kenn Reef is a submerged coral atoll off the Pacific coast of Queensland, Australia, measuring about 15 by 8 kilometers and appearing in outline as a backward-facing L or a boot shape. The reef covers roughly 40 square kilometers and carries an islet called Observatory Cay, about 2 meters above the high tide line, in its southeastern part.
