Kalam Valley is a valley in the Swat Kohistan region of Upper Swat District, in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan, about 99 kilometers north of Mingora, at roughly 2,000 meters above sea level. It marks the point where the Swat River forms from the confluence of its two major tributaries, the Gabral and Ushu rivers. The valley is predominantly inhabited by Gawri people, who speak the Gawri language alongside Urdu, and recorded a population of 23,170 in the 2017 census. It includes a farmed plateau above the river and is ringed by mountains, among them Mount Falak Sar at 5,918 meters and an unnamed peak reaching 6,096 meters.
