The Juneau Icefield spans roughly 3,900 square kilometers of the Coast Mountains just north of Juneau, Alaska, extending across the border into British Columbia. It feeds more than 40 large valley glaciers and about 100 smaller ones, including the well known Mendenhall and Taku glaciers.
