The Juan Fernandez Islands are a sparsely inhabited group of islands in the South Pacific Ocean, situated about 670 kilometers off the coast of Chile and reliant on tourism and fishing. The group is composed of three main volcanic islands, Robinson Crusoe, Alejandro Selkirk, and Santa Clara, and is part of Insular Chile.
