The Jordan Rift Valley, also called the Jordan Valley, is an elongated endorheic basin running through modern Israel, Jordan, Palestine and Syria. It carries the entire length of the Jordan River from its sources through the Hula Valley, the Korazim Plateau and the Sea of Galilee down to the Dead Sea, the lowest land elevation on Earth, and continues through the Arabah depression to the Gulf of Aqaba and the Red Sea.
