Imja Glacier is a valley glacier in the Himalayas of Nepal's Solukhumbu District, originating on the western face of Kali Himal at 7,057 meters, southeast of Mount Everest near Island Peak. It receives ice from the Lhotse Shar and Ambulapcha glaciers and forms the eastern boundary of the glacial lake Imja Tsho, whose meltwater drains through the Dingboche valley into the Imja Khola, the Dudh Kosi and eventually the Ganges.
