The Hollentalferner is a cirque glacier in the western Wetterstein Mountains of Germany, filling the upper part of the Hollental valley in a rocky bowl between the Riffelwandspitzen and the Zugspitze, Germany's highest mountain. Its sheltered position keeps it well protected from direct sunshine.
