The Hermite Islands, called Islas Hermite in Spanish, are a group of four main islands, Hermite, Herschel, Deceit, and Hornos, along with smaller islets, near the southern tip of South America in the Tierra del Fuego region of Chile's Magallanes area. Hornos Island, the smallest and southernmost of the four, holds the well known headland of Cape Horn. The group lies south of the Wollaston Islands, separated from them by the Franklin Channel, and north of the Diego Ramirez Islands, the southernmost land in the Americas, with the Drake Passage beyond.
