Gowan Glacier is a glacier about fifteen nautical miles long in the Heritage Range of the Ellsworth Mountains, in Ellsworth Land, Antarctica. It flows north from Cunningham Peak on the Founders Escarpment and ends at the Minnesota Glacier near Welcome Nunatak. The United States Geological Survey mapped it from surveys and Navy aerial photography taken between 1961 and 1966, and the Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it for Lieutenant Jimmy L. Gowan of the United States Navy Medical Corps, who served as doctor and officer in charge at Plateau Station in 1966.
