Gergeti, also known as Ortsveri, is a glacier on the southeastern slope of Mount Kazbek in the Kazbegi District of Georgia. It is about 7.1 kilometers long with a surface area of 11 square kilometers, its tongue descending to 2,900 meters above sea level. Most of the glacier lies within an old, eroded volcanic caldera, at whose northern rim rises the cone of Mount Kazbek, while the southern rim, where the glacier descends, is bounded by Mount Ortsveri. A meteorological station sits on the glacier's left edge at an elevation of 3,650 meters.
