Exit Glacier is a valley glacier flowing from the Harding Icefield in the Kenai Mountains of southern Alaska, within Kenai Fjords National Park on the Kenai Peninsula. It is one of the park's most visited features and one of the most accessible valley glaciers in Alaska, reachable by road for much of the year. The glacier takes its name from having served as the exit route for the first documented crossing of the Harding Icefield in 1968. It has retreated sharply in recent decades, pulling back about 187 feet between 2013 and 2014 alone, and its visible retreat has made it a widely cited marker of climate change in Alaska, drawing a visit from President Barack Obama in 2015.
