Domboshava is an area of granite hills in Mashonaland East, Zimbabwe, about 27 kilometers north of Harare, its name drawn from Shona words for rock and light brown. Its most prominent granite outcrop, Ngoma Kurira, meaning "the drum sounds," is a National Monument of Zimbabwe and a popular destination for local and international visitors, reached by a hiking trail from the hilltop. Caves within the outcrop hold rock paintings estimated at nearly 6,000 years old.
