Distaghil Sar, also spelled Disteghil Sar, rises in the Baltin Bar Nallah Shishkat area of Hunza, part of the Karakoram range in Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, the nineteenth-highest mountain on Earth and the seventh-highest in Pakistan. It carries a three-kilometer-long summit ridge above 7,400 meters elevation with three distinct summits, Northwest at about 7,885 meters, Central at about 7,760 meters, and Southeast at about 7,696 or 7,535 meters depending on the survey, and is the first peak after Shishapangma to stand as the tallest independent summit of its own subrange.
