The Darkhad Valley is a large valley in northwestern Khuvsgul Province, Mongolia, situated between the Ulaan Taiga and Khoridol Saridag mountain ranges at an altitude of about 1,600 meters. It measures roughly 160 kilometers long and 40 kilometers wide, covering an area of about 4,270 square kilometers. The area was transferred from Tannu Tuva to the Mongolian People's Republic in 1925.
