Cowaramup Bombora is a big wave, open ocean surf break about 2 kilometers offshore west of Gracetown in Western Australia, roughly 265 kilometers south of Perth. It is a bombora, an Indigenous Australian term for a shallow area of the seafloor over which large ocean swells break, and when powerful Southern Ocean swells arrive it can produce waves exceeding 40 feet, occasionally more than 60 feet.
