The Codroy Valley is a glacial valley in the Anguille Mountains, a sub range of the Long Range Mountains in southwestern Newfoundland, Canada. It runs inland from the coast on a northeast bearing, carrying the Codroy River and its tributaries toward the Gulf of St. Lawrence. Its coastal mouth, known as Wreckhouse, is notorious for winds strong enough to derail railway cars.
