Cerro Tuzgle

Cerro Tuzgle is a dormant stratovolcano in the Susques Department of Jujuy Province, northwestern Argentina, part of the back arc of the Central Volcanic Zone of the Andes, standing about 280 kilometers east of the main volcanic arc. Its summit reaches 5,486 meters and grew over successive stages atop a caldera and lava domes, with major lava flows emanating from the summit crater and at least one confirmed flank collapse.
