The Capertee Valley is a large canyon in New South Wales, Australia, 135 kilometers northwest of Sydney between Lithgow and Mudgee in the Central Tablelands, just above the Blue Mountains, and is noted as the widest canyon in the world, exceeding the Grand Canyon. Its only population center is the village of Glen Davis, which includes a campsite and often serves as a starting point for bushwalks along the Capertee River and into the surrounding Wollemi National Park.
