Byrdbreen is the largest glacier flowing northwest between Mount Bergersen and Balchen Mountain in the Sor Rondane Mountains of Antarctica, about 40 nautical miles long and 11 nautical miles wide. Norwegian cartographers mapped it in 1957 from aerial photographs taken during the U.S. Navy Operation Highjump of 1946-47, naming it for Rear Admiral Richard E. Byrd, the operation commander.
