Bumburet is the largest valley of Kalasha Desh in Lower Chitral District, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, lying in the Hindu Kush at about 2,288 metres elevation. Its stream is joined from the south by the Rumbur Valley, and the combined waterway flows about 20 kilometres to meet the Kunar Valley near the village of Ayun, while a pass at the valley's western rim connects at roughly 4,500 metres to Afghanistan's Nuristan Province. The valley floor carries streams, meadows and fields of walnut and apricot trees, and is home to the Kalash people, whose heritage is documented at the valley's Kalasha Dur Museum. Flooding in 2015 caused substantial damage to local infrastructure.
