Bligh Reef is a reef off Bligh Island in Prince William Sound, Alaska, best known as the site of the 1989 Exxon Valdez oil spill. Following the disaster, federal law mandated an automated navigation light there, though vessels have still run aground on the reef since, including the tug Pathfinder in 2009 and the steamship Olympia in 1910.
