Betaab Valley, also known as Hajan Valley, Hagan Valley or Hagoon, lies about 15 kilometers from Pahalgam in the Anantnag district of India's union territory of Jammu and Kashmir. It sits northeast of Pahalgam, between Pahalgam and Chandanwari, along the route of the Amarnath Temple pilgrimage. The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow-clad mountains and dense vegetation.
