Ben Loyal is an isolated mountain in Sutherland, in the northwest Highlands of Scotland, reaching 764 meters. It is built chiefly of granite, specifically syenite, and rises as a cluster of four rocky summits, the highest called An Caisteal. Its steep, castellated granite towers stand clear of the surrounding moorland, making it a prominent and easily recognized landmark visible from the Kyle of Tongue, Loch Loyal and neighboring Ben Hope.
