Beaver Valley (Ontario)

Beaver Valley is a valley in Grey County in southern Ontario, Canada, at the southern tip of Georgian Bay. It formed over thousands of years as the Beaver River cut into the Niagara Escarpment, and the river continues to erode bedrock at Eugenia Falls today. The valley widens from about 30 meters at its south end near Flesherton to 13 kilometers at its north end near Thornbury, where the river empties into Georgian Bay, and it is a major apple growing region traced along its rim by the Bruce Trail.
