Batura Sar, also called Batura I, rises near Passu in the Hunza District of Gilgit-Baltistan, Pakistan, the highest peak of the Batura Muztagh, the westernmost subrange of the Karakoram, and forms the apex of the Batura Wall, a continuously high stretch of the subrange's backbone. It is the twenty-fifth-highest mountain on Earth, a non-volcanic peak raised by the same Karakoram uplift as its neighbors.
