Arlington Reef is one of the major coral reefs of the Great Barrier Reef in the Coral Sea, located roughly 40 kilometres northeast of Cairns, Queensland, Australia. The Australian Institute of Marine Science first surveyed its corals in 1987 and has monitored them since.
