Arabia Mountain is a bare granitic rock outcrop in DeKalb County, Georgia, in the United States, the northern of two peaks that make up the Davidson-Arabia Mountain Nature Preserve; a low saddle separates it from Bradley Mountain immediately to its south. It rises to 955 feet, about 291 meters, above sea level, with the exposed rock reaching roughly 172 feet above the level of the adjoining Arabia Lake reservoir. The mountain is composed of migmatite, a rock metamorphosed at higher temperature than gneiss but not fully melted into granite, and its surface displays a distinctive swirled banding pattern produced by that partial melting. This entity documents Arabia Mountain specifically as a geological formation, the Georgia rock outcrop itself, distinct from Arabia, the biblical and geographic region of the same root name.
