Altyn Arashan is an alpine valley and mountain resort in northeastern Kyrgyzstan, near Karakol and Issyk-Kul Lake, reached along a trekking route from Teploklyuchenka. The valley holds a hot spring development with several groups of sulfurous thermal pools long used to treat ailments, set among wooden bathhouses at an elevation of roughly 2,350 to 2,435 meters. It lies within the Arashan State Nature Reserve, a forested botanical research area that is also home to snow leopards and bears.
