The Alhucemas Islands are a group of three islets under Spanish sovereignty in the Bay of Al Hoceima, part of the Alboran Sea off the coast of North Africa. They are administered as one of Spain's minor territories of sovereignty, an arrangement that Morocco disputes, claiming the islands as part of its own territory.
