The Andagua volcanic field is a volcanic field in southern Peru made up of cinder cones, lava domes and lava flows that have filled the Andagua Valley. It is part of a larger volcanic province clustered around the Colca River, mostly of Pleistocene age, though the Andagua sector includes cones with historical activity and its most recent eruption about 370 years ago. Eruptions have mostly been effusive, producing lava flows that dammed local watersheds to form the Laguna de Chachas, Laguna Mamacocha and Laguna Pumajallo lakes and buried the course of the Andagua River; the valley segment of the province was declared a geopark in 2015.
