Lowland Plains

Broad low-lying plains and lowlands built from river, glacial or marine sediment, such as the plains of Cheshire and Mazovia. A landform belongs here when its cited article describes a lowland, plain or flat expanse. It excludes plateaus and highlands. These plains have deep soils and wide river valleys, and most carry farmland and towns, while their sediments record earlier seas, ice sheets and river courses.
