20th century

Era birth year orders earth scientists by the year each one was born. Wikipedia records that Alfred Wegener lived from "1 November 1880" until his death in 1930, a lifetime that ended three decades before his own theory won acceptance. Browsing by birth year sets a scientist alongside the peers working in the same generation.
