Tepuis and Massifs of the Guiana Highlands

This group collects the Named Rock Formations and Groups subcategory's members that are the table-topped tepui mountains and massifs of South America's Guiana Highlands, including Mount Roraima, Auyan-tepui and Kukenan-tepui, ancient sandstone plateaus rising sheer from the surrounding rainforest. These share both a single geographic region and a single distinctive flat-topped, sheer-sided form, setting them apart from the subcategory's more geographically scattered scenic-formation and stratigraphic-formation groups.
