The triclinic crystal system, also called the anorthic system, is one of the seven crystal systems recognized in crystallography. The cited article explains that a crystal system is described by three basis vectors, and that in the triclinic system the crystal is described by vectors of unequal length, as in the orthorhombic system, with angles between the vectors that must all be different and may not include ninety degrees. It describes the triclinic lattice as the least symmetric of the fourteen three-dimensional Bravais lattices and the only lattice type that itself has no mirror planes. Materials whose crystals belong to this system are grouped under this concept.

Entity-backed identity for the crystal system this mineral already carries as an enum fact, phase 3 bucket conversion (docs\design_entity_backed_browse_buckets_20260928.md, w-bucketconv-divmore2-0929). The original fact stays on the entry unchanged.
