Aeolian and Desert Landforms

This group collects the Landform Concepts subcategory's members that name and define landforms shaped by wind and by arid conditions: dunes in their several forms, loess, ergs and sand sheets, desert pavement, ventifacts shaped by windblown sand, and playas and dry lakes left by evaporation. Each entry defines the term and the wind- or aridity-driven process that builds it rather than describing one named desert or dune field.
